The Antennae is a Legendary petal added on February 19, 2020 to florr.io. Unlike other petals, it will attach itself to the flower and increases your vision.

Appearance

Two slightly curved lines, resembling the antennae on a hornet. When equipped, these go on top of the flower.

Special: Unlike other petals, this will not rotate around your flower but go on top of your head. This means that it does not have the normal stats that other petals have like damage, durability, and respawn time. Instead, Antennae increases your vision significantly (+45%), allowing you to see vast areas of the map.

Obtaining

You can take the easy way or the hard way:

• Hornets take a long time to farm and is also dangerous. Kinda like how massive beetles and leggs do.
• People with antennae are vulnerable to attacks, however. Just make sure no tringers are involved in either of the builds, and try to have your opponent on the screen.
• It is best to use leaf build to harvest hornets as it heals you so you don't get killed in a swarm of hornets or mobs

Using

Advantages

• Being able to see farther allows you to spot large amounts of mobs which can then be avoided.
• You can also spot mobs and petals from a farther distance than anyone else without an antennae.

Disadvantages

• The antennae petal occupies a petal slot when equipped reducing your strength when fighting with others.
• It also makes you unsure of whether or not players and mobs can see you.

Extra

• It does not affect the flower or petals in any way, only FoV.

Against

• Since an Antennae user will have 1 petal slot less than usual, they will be more vulnerable while fighting unless it is switched out.

• The Antennae is the first petal in the game which is not actually used as a weapon, instead being an attachment to the flower.
  • This also makes it the first petal that does not revolve around the flower; it will always be pointing upwards.
  • It is the second petal which cannot deal any damage, with the first being Bubble.
• Along with Cactus and Cactus (Epic) maximum health gains and the latter's poison ability, as well as the damage reflection of salt, it is the only petal that has function in an overleveled zone since it can't attack.
• This petal is the only Legendary petal that isn't a stronger version of a previous petal (Legendary Stinger is a stronger Stinger, Legendary Cactus is a stronger Cactus, Legendary Web is a stronger Web, Legendary Egg is a stronger Egg and Legendary Peas is a stronger Epic Peas (that is a stronger Rare Peas))
