The Egg (Legendary) is a petal legendary in Florr.io. It summons a "pet" beetle that attacks nearby players.
Appearance[]
A slightly larger version of the egg, it is an oval shape that is a light brown with a slightly darker border.
The pet is a Beetle (mob).

Respawn: 3.5 sec (1.5 for respawn, 2 for hatching)
Upon spawning, the egg hatches after a few seconds into a pet beetle. The egg goes on the respawn timer when the beetle or egg dies.
The pet beetle has the exact same properties as the beetle. It will attack any nearby mobs or flowers. If a mob or flower is attacking you, it will prioritize them. The beetle will not attack its owner.

Obtaining[]
You can take the easy way or the hard way:
- Get some ants to distract the beetle. Then kill the guy holding it. Most probably, they may have several eggs, so use ranged petals instead.
- There's no point in farming massive beetles since it's dangerous and takes a long time.
Strategy[]
Using[]
- An egg (much better than the ant), this petal is great at distracting a player chasing you. The beetle can easily deal massive amounts of damage forcing them to retreat.
- It is also great for dealing with hornets since it can go to attack them leaving you at safe distance. Unless there are ten or more hornets, it should have no problem dealing damage.
- It lacks a bit on offense though, as it often won't target a player you're chasing, and the player can outrun it anyway. However, if you pair this with honey/web, the Beetle can actually be effective. Just be careful with webs, the beetle tends to get stuck.
- In combat, the beetle can give you an enormous edge, but the egg takes a few seconds to hatch after spawning, letting your opponent kill it before it's a threat. Players using rocks or heaviest will have no problem doing this.
- Big beetles are rare, so the best way to get eggs is to kill players who have eggs already.
Against[]
- To fight the owner, wait until the beetle gets distracted, then attack.
- The Egg spawns in a normal beetle, so similar strategies apply.

Trivia[]
- It was the second legendary petal to be added to the game, after the Square (which is now unique)
- This, along with the Egg (Epic), is the only petal that can spawn mobs.
- The beetle cannot deal damage to its owner.
