Are you looking for the current version of the Soldier Ant mob? If so, please go to this page: https://official-florrio.fandom.com/wiki/Soldier_Ant. This page contains information about the legacy version of the Soldier Ant mob.

The Soldier Ant is an unusual mob in florr.io that was added on February 3rd, 2020. This ant is hostile toward all flowers regardless of being attacked or not.

Appearance[]

Looks exactly like the worker ant but has two wings on its back. The wings are semi-transparent, white ovals attached to the back behind the head. The wings flap back and forth when aggressive but are still when passive.

Stats & Behavior[]

Speed: Slow when passive, medium when aggressive

Health: 40 HP

Body Damage: 10 HP

Wanders around randomly, moving a few tiles before stopping and changing directions. Becomes aggressive when a flower gets close, at which point it will chase the flower. It's aggressive range is smaller than other aggressive mobs like beetles and hornets, allowing you to get closer. Soldier ants also stop chasing you if you're at least a moderate distance away. Soldier ants that spawn from an ant hole or an egg are aggressive upon spawning and will chase the attacker. Ones that spawn from eggs are not aggressive toward their "owner."  One spawns around an ant hole when the ant hole spawns and 26 more spawn as the ant hole is being attacked.

Tips[]

Note: For tips on eggs, go to the Egg page.

  • Lone soldier ants pose little to no threat considering they are fairly weak. The problem is that the ants almost never come alone.
  • When attacking ant holes, be very careful since five ants or even more can come out at a time, over whelming you and causing damage. Be aware that worker ants will also become aggressive and watch for the queen ant, which can block hits that could kill the soldier ants.
  • If chasing a player with eggs, their ants will attack you. The ants can easily bypass your petals, especially since you're already heading toward. Not only will they cause damage, but they will knock you back too, allowing the flower to escape. If not attacking a flower, pet ants are not likely to attack you.
  • Soldier ants are useful if you need irises, twins, or fasters
