The Spider is an unusual mob in florr.io added on February 20, 2020.
Appearance[]
A small, brown circle with a dark brown outline. It has eight dark grey legs with four on each side and small gaps in the front and back. When moving, the legs move back and forth in a wave-like motion.
Stats & Behavior[]
Speed: Slow when passive, very fast when aggressive
Health: 20 HP
Body Damage: 25 HP
Wanders around randomly, moving a few tiles forward before stopping and changing direction. When a flower gets in range of it, it will start chasing the flower.

They move faster than any other mob and even flowers at about 6 squares per second, and deal a significant amount of damage (although the damage is less severe than the Beetle). Because of the speed at which they travel, a single spider can deal consecutive hits on a flower moving in one direction.

Tips[]
- These formidable foes are lightning fast and can deal significant damage. Make sure you deal with them quickly before they kill you.
- Fasters are useful since it makes it more likely for a petal to hit the spider. They do not have high health but will do serious damage if they make body contact with you.
- Bubbles can help you run away faster, giving you more time to kill it.

- Spiders cannot be slowed down by Webs.
- The Yin Yang petal originally dropped from only spiders, but this was changed on February 25, 2020.
- The Legendary Stinger originally dropped from only spiders, but this was also changed on the same date.
- It is the only mob that is faster than flowers.
- If a player makes it to the left half of the medium zone while being chased by a spider, the spider will stop chasing them.
