The Stinger (Legendary), also known as the Tringer, is a Legendary petal added in the February 20, 2020, update. It is three Stinger petals in one.

Appearance[]

Three stingers that group together in a triangle-like formation.

Function[]

Damage: 35 HP (per stinger)

Durability: 8 HP (per stinger)

Respawn time: 4 sec (per stinger)

No special traits. All stingers take up the space of an average petal and have independent stats. They stick together like rare rose, except that this one does not rotate.

Obtaining[]

You can take the easy way or the hard way:

This is one of the hardest petals to obtain, the most reasonable way to get them is to kill players who have it, generally this player will be followed by many others who also want the stinger making it difficult to obtain. Trying to kill this person is not a terrible way of obtaining legendary stingers but it is also very difficult.
Farming for it is another possibility. They will rarely drop from the queen ant, but only rarely due to the rarity of ant holes. But when there is a leader with a high score, they will most certainly have multiple of these (unless they are mass teaming in which case they might not).

Strategy[]

Using[]

Since stingers are already really good, this is commonly referred to as the best petal in the game.
Extremely high damage upon contact, when all three are hit, it will deal 105 damage which is over half the HP of any flower unless they use tons of cacti.

Against[]

As stingers have low HP, tanky petals such as the rock or heaviest can destroy it. Corn can also work but due to it's small hitbox and low damage, it is unreliable for countering it.
A rose build may counteract the strength of the petal. (however, to counter one stinger, you have to collect 5 Roses (Epic), which is harder and occupies more space.)
A good counter to the stinger is using many cacti with salt, with an increased amount of HP, you can survive an attack. The damage reflection (e.g. 105 dmg from stinger = 25% reflection, 105/4 = 26.25. This means if you tank the stinger, you will deal back a guaranteed 26.25 damage from reflection.)
A weakness of the stinger is pollen, a single pollen will destroy a stinger making defending from a stinger attack much easier.

Trivia[]

When initially added, this petal used to be dropped from Spiders, but was changed in the February 25, 2020 update.
This petal deals the most damage out of any petal.
It is commonly referred to as a tringer (triple stinger), or leg stinger (legendary stinger).
