The Stinger (old) is an unusual petal in florr.io. It has insane damage but low durability.

A small, black, triangular shaped petal with an even darker outline.

Respawn time: 4 seconds

No special properties except that it has more damage than a Heavy but can be destroyed by a Fast.

Obtaining

Not that bad to get:

• If you are playing in Easy, farm some bees. If you're in Medium, farm cacti. If Hard, Spiders. Stingers are everywhere in the ? zone.
• Fighting players = get stung. Fight with heavies = get slammed. Rose = ???

Strategy

Using

• These are deadly in battle, so try to use them. The only problem is that these are fragile.
• There are many combos using the stinger. These are especially good in combat.
  • Pair lots of these with Faster to create the Quick Ripper Build, a build that is capable on almost insta-killing anything it runs into.
  • Put several with two bubbles to get the Bubble Assassin Build. It can backstab almost any florr it wishes to.
  • Combine an equal amount of the petal with roses to form the Buzzer, which has a deadly-sharp shell.
  • Finally, this with a Dandelion an Iris & a Rock in the Arsenal is used for heavy damage that the enemy cannot heal from.
• A stinger iris combo can deal massive damage to any player they strike
• Use high durability petals (not corn though) to protect your fragile stingers

Against

• Since these are fragile, use weak petals with quick respawn, such as the Twin, to destroy these. You can also use something durable, such as a rock.
• Be careful around the Quick-Ripper, you don't want to be insta-killed.

Trivia

• They were originally most frequently obtained from Hornets, but this was changed on February 19, 2020, when Hornets no longer dropped Stingers (they drop Missiles now)
• This petal is tied for 3rd place with the Missile for most damage done, with the number one being the Legendary Stinger (though the damage per petal is the same).
