The Yin Yang is an Epic Petal in florr.io that was added on February 20, 2020. They change the direction in which your petals will revolve around the your flower.

Appearance[]

This petal looks like a circle that has been split into black and white. It looks like normal Yin and Yang, but without the dots.

Function[]

Damage: 15 HP

Durability: 15 HP

Respawn time: 1 sec

Special: Changes the direction of petals when one or more are equipped. For more details, see the table below:

2 Petals will fully stop rotating (although they can move inwards/outwards if you choose to attack/defend).

5 Petals will fully stop rotating (although they can move inwards/outwards if you choose to attack/defend).
6 Clockwise (default).
7 Counterclockwise.
8 Yin Yang petals move at supersonic speed (faster than 8 fasters).

Drops[]

Percentage[]

Mobs and their drop rates
Mobs Drop Chance (In %) Fraction (General) Fraction with 1 as numerator Decimal
Ladybug (Dark) 2% (1/50) Same as Said 0.02

Obtaining[]

It's really good, but hard to get:

  • Farming Dark Ladybugs is by far the best way to obtain this petal. Dark Ladybugs drop it at a 2% chance, which is very high for an epic. They drop at 10 times the chance of a Dark Ladybug to drop an Erose or a Triplet.
  • If you want to farm players for it, DON'T DO IT! Here's why:
    • Dark ladybugs drop it a lot.
    • Players who get this typically pick it up & trash it for XP.
    • When players do equip Yin-Yangs, it is often in overpowered builds, such as the Taijitu build.

Tips[]

  • It is usually better to dispose of and get XP instead of using it, although getting 8 Yin Yangs will put your flower into the Taijitu build.
    • The Taijitu build is a death wheel on steroids, with petals moving at supersonic speeds. However, replacing even one yin yang for another petal returns the petal speed to normal (so manual healing only).
  • Alternatively, quickly switching in and out the Yin Yang can be a tedious but effective strategy when having to fight other players while attempting to circle them. Equipping Yin Yang depends on which direction the player shall attack, relying to the counter-direction of their petals to maximize damage.
  • You can also pair this with Stinger/Iris, making them "gear" with enemy petals so they don't get hit.
  • If you do not have a triplet, you can use this.

Trivia[]

  • When initially added, this petal used to be dropped from the Spider.
  • It is the only petal to change the direction of petal movement.
